Recommendations:
These photos were taken from a very famous fishery and restaurant from Japan. Here's a photo of one of it's restaurants in Asakura below.(Actually,I had the seafood in the Asakura branch of the restaurant company.)It was pretty delicious to me and the food they serve is based on what seafood they caught that day. Therefore, you don't have to worry if the food is not fresh in this restaurant, because what they serve is their daily catch!
This is a famous hot spring resort Oedo Onsen Monogatari. It is some sort of combination between a hotel and a hot spring and a restaurant. For me,it's a must-go resort and if your looking for somewhere to stay for 1-2 days in Japan,it would definitely be my choice of resort.
This is Skytree Tokyo,I totally recommend this landmark if a panoramic, scenic view of Tokyo is what you'll like to add to your trip itinerary.
This is the Karuizawa Ski Resort. You might not understand the Japanese on the map above, but from the pictures you can surely see that it includes a few advanced ski routes snaking on the side of the mountain and in the first photo you can clearly see that the ski resort also has a restaurant( and an outlet, for the ladies)near the site.I was there last year, and it was awesome, apart from the ski routes I mentioned, there is also an area for kids to sleigh on while the parents could go shopping or go skiing on the mountains. Also,as I've said,it's a resort,so if you'd like to stay for a few days there,it could be a great place for both parents and kids!
This is Akihabara,a place where men and teenage boys or anime and tech geeks would surely visit,as this area is very famous for its diverse range of computer gadgets and building models of all kinds, such as the well-known Gundam,or others like Drangon Ball Z and other anime series figures.
From the start, you might think that this is just another bowl of ramen. But no,just no,stuff that gets on this list should be like the best of the best. Now,let me introduce you to...the cheese ramen!Though this restaurant doesn't have an English name,it's formal name should be 九十九拉麵,so if you see that name, just go into the restaurant, and chow down on some delicious noodle!(By the way, this is from the Ebisu district)
This is Hakone,a famous national park that attracts a lot of visitors for its scenic views, cable car rides above forests,an unforgettable experience in crossing its Lake Ashi on a pirate shipand its ridiculously beautiful and spectaclar view of Mount Fuji and its geysers. Also it's a resort too,but for me I didn't have time to head there.Though I must tell you that if you plan to come here during winter, remember to bring along your snow gear as it does snow a lot there.Other than that, the black hard-boiled eggs are also a very famous snack. As a matter of fact, they look black on the outside because they were boiled in hot spring water!(You can buy the eggs and more souveniers at the gift shop.)
This is the Tokyo Joypolis from Tokyo DECKS,as you can see on the map above.Joypolis is a indoor theme park that includes an arcade, amusement rides such as the second photo as shown(it's the Halfpipe,an amusement ride where you ride a giant skateboard and step on pressure plates to spin the skateboard to earn more points.),though it was a good ride, but through my own experience,I think it was a pretty nauseous ride(personally I wasn't a fan of amusement rides.)
This is the famous fisheries market the Tsukiji Market,as you could see from the photos above, you can tell that there is a variety of seafood to have or buy.Once you get through the entrance, there are also really good restaurants you can try,and I suggest the second restaurant on the left as I go there every time I visit tokyo. I was there 6 months ago,and if you go deeper, you can also buy souveniers and more local snacks like grilled egg or skewered squid, which I also rcommend if you go to japan.
